Teacher, Shaman and Guide
Ron McLain is the founder of Secret Mountain Tours established in 1980. He is a Shaman, a Minister and a teacher of unversal love of yourself and others and developing your personal power.
Ron is also a professional musician and composer of the songs of life. He holds workshops and seminars about the Earth energies, the medicine wheel, animal totems and their meanings, cycles in the universe and many other subjects. He has spoken to people from all over the world on his journeys.
Ron uses wisdom, personal experience, humor, and integrity to assist you in seeing how beautiful, and beneficial you already are to the world and the people around you. Ron is the most experienced guide into the Vortex mysteries in Sedona and has written permission from the Medicine Chief, Sun Bear, to teach about the Medicine Wheel.
Groups and Retreats
We conduct group tours, retreats and short or extended tours of Sedona and the Southwest. We do scenic and historical tours of the area with entertaining and educational stories of Sedona and Arizona.
We can help you plan your activities, obtain lodging, transportation, massages, healing and other spiritual activities. We will take you out on the land for meditation or teachings about the Earth energies and Native American ceremonies.
Ron is a professional singer and composer and can provide entertainment such Indian Dancers, Flute players and other activiteis as well.
We also work with other teachers and leaders to facilitate your sacred Sedona experience.
A typical 5 to 7 day group plan can include; the Sedona Vortexes, building a Medicine Wheel, going to Grand Canyon , Canyon de Chelley, going out on a horse ranch to learn how to relate to the animal kingdom as well as the Hopi and Navajo sacred lands. We include hiking, shopping, ,jeeps and flights around northern AZ.
Your group will benefit from our 27 years of interaction with the Native people of the area and our friendships and family relationships with the Hopi people.
